Here is my online Book of Shadows... A Book of Shadows is like a Wiccan's personal diary... It is where a witch collects his/her thoughts on the Craft, as well as a collection of Spells and References... I make no claim as to the potency of my spells... All I know is that they work for me, personally... In my experience, I have found that most spells should be personalized... They are not fill-in-the-blank, generic spells... You will more than likely need to change the wording and/or ritual in order to get a spell to work for you... The spells that I have listed are mainly as examples... | |||||||||||||||||||||||

An it Harm None, Do As Thou Wilt | This is one of the most basic rules of Wicca... Wicca is a very personal religion... There is no Ten Commandments, or other set of rules that you must follow... Wicca is different for everyone who practices magick... Know Yourself You must be familiar with all of your personal aspects... Your good qualities as well as your bad qualities are all a part of YOU, and are therefore very important in the Wiccan religion... Take Care of Yourself Exercise, eat right, learn to meditate and relax... If you don't take care of your body, it will not take care of you... Your body acts as a channel for the power of magick, and if you do not take good care of this channel, the power will not be able to travel through you, thereby weakening your overall power... Be Kind to Mother Earth The Earth is not simply a place to live... She is a living creature who deserves our love and respect... Anything that you need in life (this is NEED, not necessarily WANT) can be found in Nature, and therfore, you must in turn take care of this glorious giver... (Does the phrase "don't bite the hand that feeds you" sound familiar?) Rule of Three "Ever mind the Rule of Three Three times what thou givest returns to thee This lesson well, thou must learn Thee only gets what thou dost earn!" * NEVER, EVER do ANY magick that harms anyone! This is not simply The Golden Rule that we all learned in grade school... This is very, very important... If you practice Black Magick, then you will most definately be harmed in the process... This is not a scare tactic, folks... It is plain fact... If you do evil, then evil x 3 will be done unto you...
